In the countryside you can experience genuine Bulgarian hospitality. The inhabitants of the countryside are calm, cheerful and their life goes by at a slower pace.
”Da bedesh ziv e zdrav” ( May you live in good health) is a greeting which you can hear in the street even from a stranger. Elderly women with their heads wrapped are sitting in front of their houses gossiping and waiting for sheep and goats coming back from the pasture. In many Bulgarian villages you can see well run comfortable agrotourist farmhouses where you can go horse riding, milk a goat or a sheep and taste home-made food. You can definitely relax and refresh there.
